The ribbon begins life as 10cm. wide silk bias ribbon. It is then hand dyed in gorgeous blends of color and pleated and dyed again, so that when you receive it, it is quite narrow. You can pull it open, manipulate it in many different ways, bead on it, turn it into amazing flowers and shapes, use it as the base of jewelry, crazy patches, etc. A work of art all on its own, it can be enhanced in the hands of an artist.
