Holiday in Provence

I had a wonderful holiday in Paris, Avignon and Prague. Lots of colours, history and food to feast the eyes on.  The world is becoming a much smaller place with many international goods available here in Australia.  It's hard to find those unique pieces to bring home.  It's so important to have our artist and crafts people making one off special creations rather than all the mass production.  We need to support them so we have a difference and a style if our own - not something you see everywhere.

Buttons and Trim

 

New vintage style rayon seam binding co-ordinated with a beautiful shell button.  Each button has a decal of a rose, lily or shepherd and shepherdess.  The buttons vary in design and are at least 30 years old.  I have been sorting through my stash and have found these treasures.
