New Divine Pear Kit

A new Divine Pear.
At last after a few years I have finally finished the trio of pears. It's amazing what you can achieve when given a little push. I was asked to teach them to the Southport Embroiderers Guild so I needed a sample to stitch. Out came the last pear which had been languishing in the cupboard for 6 years just waiting to stitched!
MY divine paperweight in Colour Streams Euclypt silk velvet embellished with Hanha silk ribbon flowers and leaves of silk ribbon and chenille. Rosemontes and sequins add special touches. H20cm. x 12cm. wide at base.

Brass Pendants

These pendants are about 20 years old and have been hidden in my stash. I thought it was time they emerged to be shared with you. The brass pendant comes with two pieces of glass in which to sandwich your collage. There is no need for resin or difficult glues to create a masterpiece. It can be used for jewellery, fabric collage or book binding and crazy patchwork. 4cm. high x 3cm. wide.

Sparkly Treasures

 

French Renaissance ribbon is a ruffled ribbon with a gold edge.  5cm. is all you need to make these pretty little flowers.  Add them to crazy patchwork, ribbon embroidery and collage. Combine them with diamantes, beads and sequins for a rich, elegant effect.  Don't forget the Ombre ribbons too - they work the same way!

Felted Wool, Silk Velvet and felt for Applique.

Take your favourite applique pattern and use felted wool instead of patchwork fabrics.  No seam allowances needed and  no turning under of edges as the wool doesn't fray!  Embellish the outlines with beautiful hand dyed silk threads in basic embroidery stitches and seed beads for great effects.  Be as creative as you like there is no limit to the ideas you will discover.
